AEG SERIES RODS
AEG Series, Single Hand 590-3
The AEG 590 was resurrected from the late-great Loop Grey Line series rod. Incorporating the latest graphite's and glues, Loop Tackle has recreated what is arguably the greatest 5 weight ever built, and at a price point even a “Fish Bum” can afford. AEG Single Hand 590-3, 9 foot, 3 piece, 5 weight. The action is best described as: “Fast but with some Love”, so it will deliver a streamer, but then turn right around and handle a dry fly with amazing accuracy.
AEG Series, Single Hand 696-4
The AEG 696 was designed from the ground up to handle big trout and summer steelhead. It loves big streamers, sink tips and indicator/nymph setups. As with the 590, the 696 was built incorporating the latest graphite's and glue technology. AEG Single Hand 696-4, 9 foot six inch, 4 piece, 6 weight. Action: It’s “Medium/Fast” and is a pleasure to cast all day long.

"Justin - wanted to let you know I received my LOOP rods in the mail yesterday. Spooled up that 3 piece 5wt AEG series rod and I have to say you were right, it is an unbelievable little rod, especially for the $$$!
I was playing around on the front lawn and it will cast and shoot line a mile. Good job guys, that is by far the best rod I have cast and it will outperform my Sage and T & Tt's anyday. Haven't got to the OPTI's yet"
Cheers
GG
